Monitoring Your Progress When starting an exercise program you need to set yourself realistic goals that you would like to achieve in a certain time frame. Write these down so you can refer to see how well you are progressing. Recording your time, distance and how hard you worked (intensity) from your first workout can provide motivating information to keep on improving. Your workouts can be logged in several ways depending on your goal. A basic training log can be used for all workouts. Click below on your goal for further information of how you can keep a record of your progress.
