Q "What is WaterCoach?"

WaterCoach is a rowing education program designed to broaden the knowledge of rowing as a fitness pursuit.

Q "Who can qualify as a WaterCoach Professional Instructor?"

Anyone who has an interest in the sport of rowing or who has a sports science background or who is interested in becoming a WaterCrew instructor can complete the Level I and Level II courses. 

Q "How do I qualify as a WaterCoach Professional Instructor?"

To qualify as a WaterCoach Professional Instructor you need to complete both WaterCoach Professional Level I and Level II courses. Level I is the online introductory course to rowing and is a prerequisite to the Level II workshop. Once you have completed both levels you are qualified as a WaterCoach Professional Instructor.

You need to firstly register online with WaterCoach Professional Level I, once you have completed the online registration form you will receive a confirmation email and registration number from our WaterCoach Administrator. You will need the registration number to complete each test module. 

WaterCoach Professional Level I is free of charge. WaterCoach Professional Level II is currently offered at US$150 per person. Group discount rates do apply. 

WaterCoach Professional Level I can be done in your own time and should take approximately 4 hours to complete.  WaterCoach Professional Level II is a half day face to face workshop and is approximately 3-4 hours in duration. 

Yes, continuing education credits have been awarded by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) for each level. WaterCoach Professional Level I is accredited with 0.4 CEC's and WaterCoach Professional Level II is accredited with 0.3 CEC's .
