WaterCoach Professional ACE and AFAA Approved Rowing Education Programs by WaterRower WaterCoach Professional is aimed at fitness professionals or those with a basic knowledge of sports science who want to increase their understanding of the sport of rowing.
This course covers the technical and physiological aspects of rowing, and shares the training methodology used by rowers. Our hope is that with increased knowledge you, the instructor, will be able to offer a higher level of advice to users of rowing machines (either in gyms or at home) on how best to realise the unrivalled physical benefits of rowing.
WaterCoach Professional is divided into 2 levels, Level I and Level II. Both levels are approved by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) Academy and by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Continuing Education Credits (CEC's) are awarded upon completion of each level.
Level I - this is a FREE online introductory theoretical course. It covers various aspects of rowing and is a prerequisite for Level II. This online course offers continuing education credits (0.4 ACE credits) upon completion. REGISTER NOW! Level II - is a half day face to face practical course drawing on the knowledge gained from Level I. Upon completion, this workshop offers continuing education credit from both ACE and AFAA . To enrol in becoming a WaterCoach Professional you will need to complete Level I first. Qualified WaterCoach Professionals are eligible to register for WaterCrew - WaterRower's Group Rowing Education Program. |
