To qualify as a WaterCrew Instructor, you first need to complete WaterCoach Professional. 

 

WaterCoach Professional is WaterRower's rowing education program. This program covers all aspects of rowing - the sport of rowing, the rowing technique, rowing physiology and methods of rowing instruction.

 

WaterCoach Professional is divided into 2 levels;

  • Level I is a free online course which can be completed immediately, please register here

  • Level II is a half day workshop which is an extension of Level I. 

WaterCrew Instructor half day workshop can be combined with WaterCoach Professional Level II half day workshop into a full day workshop.

 

Earn CEC's from ACE and AFAA

 

Both of the above courses together with WaterCrew have been accredited by ACE (American Council on Exercise). Below are  the Continuing Education Credits allocations:

 

WaterCoach Professional Level I - 0.4 CEC's

WaterCoach Professional Level II - 0.3 CEC's

WaterCrew - 0.3 CEC's

 

Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) have approved WaterCoach Professional Level II and WaterCrew. Below are the Continuing Education Credits allocations by AFAA:

WaterCoach Professional Level II - 2.0 CEC's

WaterCrew - 2.0 CEC's
